บทคัดย่อ

The bacterial flora of newly caught chub mackerel and of the subsequent changes occuring during storage in ice up to 17 days are described.Organisms of the genus Pseudomonasbecome abundant as high as 100% in the later stages of spoilage.Coryneforms are usually present and in o­ne case contributed 60% of the total flora.The numbers of mesophiles are more predominant in fish from Andaman Sea than in fish from the Gulf of Thailand.In contrast, Vibrio/Aeromonas seems to predominate in fish from the Gulf of Thailand.
