Inoculation experiments with 10 winter wheat cultivars were performed in two different regions of Ploand which have different climates. Located at Cerekwica (Central west) and Sitaniec (Southeast). A fusarium avenaceum isolate which produced moniliforium was used for the inoculation of winter wheat heads. Analyses of all yield traits for all the cultivars, at two locations, during two vegetative seasons, indicates that cvs Aleta, Almari and Begra had the lowest susceptibility to scab, whereas Rosa and Parada were the most susceptible. Accumulation of moniliformin in kernels on average in Sitaniec was 2.28 mg/kg during 1995 and 0.41 mg/kg in 1996, and in Cerekwica it was2.12 and 1.77 mg/kg in 1995 and 1996, respectively.
