Monoclonal antibodyie (mAb) against FB1 were produced from a stable hybridoma cell line, 9C11E6, generated by the fusion of P3/NS-1/1-AG4-1 myeloma cells with spleen cells isolated from a BALB/c mouse immunised with FB1 -keyhole limpet haemocyanin. A direct competive ELISA (dc-ELISA) and an indirect competitive ELISA(idc-DLISA) were established for antibody characterisation and toxin analysis. The IC1 of binding of FB1 -horseradish peroxidase with the antibodyie by FB1 , B2 and B3 in the dc-ELISA were 29.1, 17.5 and 4.1 mg/L ,respectively. The IC50 values FB1 , B2 and B3 binding of 9C11E6mAb to the solid-phase FB1 -ovalbumin by free FB1 , B2 and B3 in the idc-ELISA were 20.1,13.2 and 16.8 mg/L , respectively. The average recovery of FB1 added to corn meal in the dc-ELISA was 71.3 %. The mAb did not react with the hydrolysed FB1 , sphingosine, sphinganine or tricarballylic acid.
