บทคัดย่อ

Occurrence of Aspergillus section Flavi and aflatixin B1 in corn genotypes and corn meal in Argentina.

A study has been caried out in Argentina on samples of corn genotypes from a breeding station as well as in commercially available corn meal. All samples were anal ysed for fungal infection and AFB1. Mycological analysis of both corn genotypes and corn meal showed a predominance of Fusarium species follwed by Penicillium species then Aspergillus species. Only one corn genotype was contaminated with AFB1 at a level of 5 ug/kg. All the samples of corn meal were negative for AFB1.
