Austrian pumpkin seeds were plated directly on to each of the three media, DG 18 DRBC, and MSA 5% and the mycoflora examined. The mycoflora were dominated by Penicillium, Eurotium and Cladosporium. Rhiaopus stolonifer was the predominating fungal species. Fifteen potential mycotoxigenic mould Species contributed to the mycoflora of pumpkin seeds.
