บทคัดย่อ

Prevention of fumonisin production by microorganisms.

Fumonisin production by a strain of Fusarium moniliforme isolated from a corn meal feed was investigated during co – culture with either lactobacilli (5 strains) or Saccharomyces cerevisciae (1 strain).S. cerevisiae was more effective in reducing fumonisin production compared with the lactobacilli, however, each strain of Lactobacillus spp. also significantly reduced fumonisin production.
