An aflatoxin producing strain of Aspergillus flavus isolated from spices was inoculated onto cayenne pepper, nutmeg and mace and incubated under various conditions of temperature and moisture. Cayenne pepper proved to be the most suitable substratum for the biosynthesis of aflatoxins. (In Italian).
