Anthracnose rot is one of the most important fungal diseases of banana fruits in the South of Iran. During the summer of 2005-2006, Anthracnose rot was observed in the Chabahar and Jask areas. Symptoms on infected fruit in the initiation of infection appear as small necrotic, lentis shape and dark brown spots, which soon later enlarge rapidly and become rot. In this research, samples of bananas fruits, that showed symptoms of Anthracnose rot were collected from banana orchards in Chabahar and Jask areas and were transferred to laboratory. Fruits samples were first washed and surfaced were sterilized with 1 % sodium hypochlorate and then were cultured on PDA medium. Obtained fungi were purified by single spore and hyphal tip methods. Pathogenisity tests were carried out with selected isolations on using detached fruits of Harichal cultivar. In this research, fungi, Colletotrichum musae and Fusarium proliferatum were isolated from infected fruits of banana. The results showed that, all fungi isolate created symptoms in inoculated fruits and then reisolated from those. This is the first report of Anthracnose diseases of banana fruits in
