The Situation and Development Perspective of Longan and Litchi Industry in Fujian
This paper expatiated on the situation of longan and litchi industry in Fujian, included the geography, the climate, the plant distribution, the variety structure, the processing and fresh-keeping technology, the product trade, the improving of planting technology, the primary calamities of nature, diseases and insects. The problems of the unreasonable variety structure, the lopsided development of the industry chain and the slow development of the professional organization for economic cooperation in the manufacture of longan and litchi were shown, and that the industry of longan and litchi should make great efforts in optimizing the variety structure, supporting the industries of fresh-keeping and processing and industry association by the way of the technology advancement.
