Main Problems of Post-harvest Management of Longan Fruits in China and Its Countermeasures
China is the original producing area of longan (Dimocarpus longana Lour.) and the chief cultivated country. In recent years, China’s longan has been rapidly developed, and China is the largest cultivated area and output of longan in the world. But there were a lot of problems in post-harvest longan fruit which concerning storage, transport, delivery and marketing. The main problems in post-harvest longan fruits in China and its countermeasures were analyzed and discussed in this papers.
