บทคัดย่อ
Methanolicextractsfromgreenfruitof‘Pikul’ (Mimusopselengi, Linn.) wereinvestigatedforantioxidantcapacityandphenoliccontent. Themethanolicextractsweresequentiallyseparatedintohexane , ethylacetate , n-butanolandwaterfractions. Twodifferentassaysfor antioxidantcapacitywereusednamelyamethodmeasuringradicalscavengingandonemeasuringreducingcapacity. TotalphenoliccontentwasdeterminedbyFolin-Ciocalteumethod. ExtractsfromgreenfruithadstrongantioxidantcapacitywhencomparedtotroloxandvitaminC. Antioxidantcapacitiesandphenoliccompoundsweredetectedinallfractionswiththehighestintheethylacetatefraction.
