The goal of this research was choosing a suitable medium to increase rootings of the cuttings and to decrease their losts during the propagation. Experimental plan performed completely accidentally. So, to gain this approach, 200 cuttings of stock plants that were not entered into the genesis phase from last year, provided. Cutting of Poinsettia planted in two medium peat-perlite and sand equally and at the same environmental conditions. The results showed that caltivated plants in peat-perlite medium had more numbers of roots, length of roots and length of shoots than cuttings cultivated in washed sand medium but, they did not have significant difference in number of produced shoots, so peat-perlite medium was more suitable to increase Poinsettia cuttings.
