บทคัดย่อ

Effectiveness of chemical postharvest treatments for avocado anthracnose control.

Benomyl and prochloraz were compared for postharvest control of anthracnose of avocado cv. Pinkerton, caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata]. Mature-green avocados were immersed for 20 s in a suspension of fungicide. The fruit were then held for 16 d at 13 deg C followed by ripening at 24 deg before evaluation for anthracnose. Treatment with 0.2% prochloraz and with 0.05% benomyl plus 0.05% prochloraz controlled anthracnose after 16 d storage at 13 deg .
