บทคัดย่อ

Machines for harvesting and processing onions.

A semi-mounted onion harvester and a farm-based postharvest production line were developed and are described and illustrated. In comparison with manual harvesting the new harvester reduced labour requirements by 12-15 times. The postharvest equipment, which cleans the onions, removes leaves and separates substandard onions, was found to meet all the necessary requirements and expenditure was significantly lower than with conventional lines.
