บทคัดย่อ

Economics of harvesting lines, postharvest treatment of maize and silage handling.

Two technologies of maize harvesting for grain and silage are compared for capital investment and running costs. Maize harvesting with adapted E-512 and E-516 combine harvesters, grain drying in LSO-25 driers, cutting of dried plants by mobile forage harvesters, transport by lorries and handling of silage by tractors and transporters are costed. Results are tabulated.
