In 1987, Potebniamyces discolor, Penicillium pinophilum, Cunninghamella echinulata and Absidia cylindrospora were found to be associated with postharvest rotting of China pears (Pyrus pyrifolia) in fruit markets in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India.
