บทคัดย่อ

Calcium deficiency disorders of fruits and vegetables.

The factors that determine calcium uptake and distribution within plants have been extensively studied in relation to calcium deficiency disorders. Much less is known about the regulation of local calcium distribution, and the disturbance of cellular functions that results in these deficiency disorders. This review emphasizes the importance of improving the understanding of the normal role of calcium in regulating cell and tissue development, to better explain what happens when calcium is deficient.
