บทคัดย่อ

Post-production handling of bedding and potted plants.

The factors affecting postproduction longevity and quality of flowering, foliage and bedding plants are assessed. Production conditions, environmental and cultural, which affect the longevity of potted plants are discussed. These are light, temperature, nutrition and irrigation. The effects of temperature and ethylene during shipping are considered. The interior conditions affecting plant longevity; light level, temperature and fertilization, are discussed.
