บทคัดย่อ

Studies on postharvest storage of custard apple.

Various treatments including the use of polyethylene bags, wax emulsion coating, fungicidal and growth regulator dips and KMnO4 as an ethylene absorbent were evaluated for extending the storage life of custard apples (Annona squamosa). Untreated fruits could be stored for 5 days. Fruits dipped in 500 p.p.m. Bavistin [carbendazim] and placed in polyethylene bags containing KMnO4 had a storage life of 9 days.
