บทคัดย่อ

Developments in food legume processing machinery.

Research efforts to reduce pulse crop milling losses in India are reviewed. Hand and power operated machines for processing pulse crops are described. The power operated abrasive rice polisher, under runner disc (URD) sheller and cylinder concave dehuller showed the best commercial potential in performance tests. A study of the effects of grain parameters and environmental factors on pulse processing are recommended.
