Chrysanthemum: 'Queen of the East'.

The cultivation of chrysanthemum [Dendranthema] in India is described. Information on cultivation practices (in fields and pots), problems facing growers (pests and diseases, short flowering periods, low yields, production of planting material and postharvest losses) and recommended varieties is presented.
