Economic study of grain post-harvest techniques.

Grain loss after harvest in China is very serious. An important way of increasing actual grain output is to improve the rural grain handling level after harvest to reduce the loss. The first part of the paper proposes several hypotheses to form the basis of an economic analysis. The second part describes the current state of grain loss. Finally, technical and economic appraisals are made of some measures for reducing the grain loss after harvest.
