บทคัดย่อ

Aflatoxin in maize in Thailand.

Maize production, postharvest practices (storage and marketing systems) and the incidence of aflatoxin in maize in Thailand are discussed. Postharvest contamination, the population of Aspergillus flavus in soil and methods of control of aflatoxins in maize, including field drying, mechanical drying, chemical treatment, ensiling of high moisture content maize, breeding for resistant varieties and cropping pattern, are considered.
