Advances in Actinidia research in China.

China has the most abundant and diverse range of Actinidia species in the world and these are discussed in relation to the following: exploration and collecting missions; selection, interspecific hybridization and embryo rescue; tissue and cell culture; postharvest physiology and storage; and improvements in processing quality.
