บทคัดย่อ

Addressing R & D for cassava postharvest system in West Africa.

An intensive field survey of the postharvest system on 239 cassava farms in Nigeria was conducted over 18 months. The processing of cassava, labour requirement, postharvest losses and product quality are discussed. The priority research areas are: (1) establishing a postharvest database, and (2) developing postharvest technology packages which address the technological needs of the female processors.
