บทคัดย่อ

Cooperative extension role in post harvest program development.

The role of the Cooperative Extension Service in postharvest programme development in north central Washington State is described. As part of its educational programme, an Annual Warehouse Seminar was established in 1985; the seminar brings together warehouse managers, postharvest researchers and trade exhibitors. Cooperative Extension programmes have also included the introduction of a computer analysis system to fruit warehouse managers for evaluating orchard and warehouse practices, and a marketing educational effort.
