บทคัดย่อ

Coastal aquaculture engineering.

The basic principles of coastal ecology, fish biology, hydrology of coastal and deltaic areas, tides and tidal calculations and wave mechanics, are followed by chapters on practical aspects of aquacultural engineering and design. Design of brackish water pond systems, sedimentation problems and engineering methods to tackle them, control of weeds, use of fertilizers, artificial feeding, harvesting and transport of fish, different types of culture system, and postharvest technology are discussed.
