บทคัดย่อ

Storage of cut flowers and ornamental plants: present status and future prospects.

Recent developments in research and in the practical application of cold storage and transportation methods to cut flowers, cuttings, seedlings, potted plants, bulbs and corms, and ornamental nursery plants are reviewed. Several factors affecting the quality of stored materials such as the stage of plant development, temperature, relative humidity, ethylene, packing and transportation methods are discussed in relation to the requirements of the ornamental horticulture industry.
