บทคัดย่อ

Fruit industry in Malaysia: current status and potential.

Over 100 fruit species are available in Malaysia but not all are considered suitable for commercialisation. The necessary characteristics for a fruit suitable for export are discussed. The weaknesses and strengths of current production and postharvest technology, transport and marketing systems are reviewed.
