บทคัดย่อ

Studies on important physiological disorders of some standard apple cultivars-I. Bitter pit.

The effects of combinations of various Ca salts with the wetting agent Agrol and benomyl on bitter pit and fungal decay were analysed on Starking Delicious and Starkrimson Delicious apples stored at 0 deg C for 6 months during 1983-84 and 1984-85 in Turkey. A relationship was found between postharvest control of bitter pit and Ca content in fruit at maturity. A combination of Agrol, benomyl and CaCl2 at 2.8% gave the best control of bitter pit and fungal decay.
