Systems for selecting fruit and vegetables in stores.

Fruit and vegetables are graded in terms of quality and size. Grading and selection is one of the most important postharvest processes and, increasingly, automatic systems are used. Information is presented on mechanical grading systems, electronic grading systems using load cells and electronic systems using image analysis.
