Data were recorded for the postharvest performance of 7 Citrus aurantiifolia clones, PLW [physiological loss in weight] among the clones was relatively consistent, ranging from 10% to 12% and thus indicating little variation in shelf life. Juice content ranged between 50% and 52% for all clones except Gudalur (48%). Bodi gave the highest acidity at 8.9%, whilst the others were all low at 6.2% to 6.9%. Total soluble solids varied from 6.2% in cv. Periyakulam to 8% in cv. Kadayam. Kadayam also showed the highest ascorbic acid content (34.3 mg/100 g), followed by Gudalur and Sirumalai (32.4 mg/100 g).
