Possibilities and limitations of warm air drying.

Equipment for warm air drying is presented. Intake equipment and conveyors, intermediate storage, warm air production, air condition, and drying temp. are considered. Operating principles of a number of drier types are outlined with specific reference to control of the drying process. Drier performance and suitability of drier type to farm size are discussed.
