บทคัดย่อ
A simple computer program using Lotus 1-2-3 (Excell 3.0) was used to determine the optimum cost of a solar grain drying system. The program determines the total cost of the 3 main drying system components (solar collector, drying chamber and blower). Basic drying parameters were used to establish the mass, momentum, and energy balances in each major component of the system in addition to the cost functions of the construction materials from which the constraint functions were formulated. The program developed can be used to estimate the optimum cost, capacity and dimension of the drying system.
