บทคัดย่อ
Samples of rotted aubergines yielded isolates of Aspergillus flavus, A. niger, Curvularia lunata [Cochliobolus lunatus], Penicillium sp., Rhizopus arrhizus and R. stolonifer. Following inoculation with the R. spp., fruits rotted completely in 3 d whereas the other 4 species required 9 d. R. rots may cause losses of up to 40% in the field in crops grown under rainfed conditions during the monsoon.
