บทคัดย่อ

Postharvest of walnut and almond.

The development of a technological complex of machines and equipment for the mechanized postharvest handling of walnuts and almonds is described. The complex consists of: dump trailers for transportation of the harvested crop; a production line for wet inertia peeling of walnut green flakes, dry inertia peeling of almond green flakes, separating the nuts and washing and additional walnut shell cleaning; a rotary evaporator with a receiving and a feeding hopper; 2 calibrators; machines for removing the kernels; vacuum packaging machines and a fork lifting loader. The capacity of the complex is 1 t harvested crop/h and the increase in labour productivity is about 16-20 times. The nut shell and green flake wastes are used for the production of active carbon, dyestuffs, medicinal extracts and fodder meal.
