บทคัดย่อ

Models to assist the choice of strategies for growing malting barley without the use of pesticides.

Ideas for the construction of a system of models to estimate yield and the most important quality parameters of malting barley production are described. The purpose of the system was to be a decision support system for the growers. The system was made using Bayesian networks and consisted of a main model and some sub-models. The main model estimated the yield and quality parameters when there were no attacks of fungal pathogens and pests, when there were no weeds and when the harvest and postharvest treatments were optimal. The sub-models estimated the change in yield and quality when the conditions were less than optimal. The proposed main model and the sub-model for describing the changes due to weeds and mechanical weed control are presented.
