Various physiological disorders arising during storage are related to the mineral content of the fruits at harvest. Avocado (cultivars Ettinger and Fuerte), mango (cultivars Tommy Atkins, Maya, Haden and Keitt), kiwifruit (cultivars Bruno and Hayward) and persimmon (cv. Triumph) fruits were studied for mineral levels, storage disorders and optimum storage conditions.
