Maximising market potential through postharvest technology.

The results of a research programme on blueberry storage (including the storage performance of various cultivars and the use of controlled atmospheres, fumigants, ripening agents and alternative harvesting techniques), conducted over several years at the Institute of Plant Sciences in Ferntree Gully, are briefly reported.
