บทคัดย่อ

Summer Minneola.

The Verdelli irrigation withdrawal system was introduced to induce out-of-season flowering in tangelo cv. Minneola. Irrigation was stopped between June and July (48 days) and flowering occurred in Aug. Fruits were harvested in June of the following year, yielding 12 t/acre. Internal fruit quality (colour, juice percentage and TSS/acid ratio) was satisfactory, but peel colour was green-yellow. Ethylene treatments improved peel colour, but it still did not reach the deep orange colour of the winter crop.
