An introduction to the Department of Biomechanical Systems, Faculty of Agriculture, Ehime University.

Courses offered by the Faculty of Agriculture of Ehime University are outlined and current research topics in the Department of Biomechanical Systems are stated. These include: expert systems for diagnosis of plant diseases; robots for greenhouse production and fruit harvesting; hydroponics; postharvest technology such as driers and stores.
