Anatomical references to storability in tomato berries.

ABSTRACT :

 

Tests on 5 tomato cultivars established positive and negative correlations between various physical characteristics of the fruits and their anatomical structure in relation to resistance to mechanical stress caused during harvesting, transport and storage.
