บทคัดย่อ

Some studies on post-harvest diseases of tomato fruits and their chemical control.

ABSTRACT :

 

Of 550 fungal isolates obtained from ripe tomato fruits from a market in Faisalabad, Pakistan, 7 species were identified (Alternaria alternata, Fusarium oxysporum, Rhizopus stolonifer, Geotrichum candidum, Aspergillus niger, A. flavus and A. fumigatus) with A. alternata the most common. Pathogenicity was confirmed for all the species. Of 5 fungicides tested, thiabendazole (as Tecto-60) gave the best control of the postharvest decay of tomato.
