บทคัดย่อ

The stochastic relations between various prestorage parameters of apple.

ABSTRACT :

 

The stochastic relationships between various characteristic parameters of apple fruits (cultivars Delicious, Golden Delicious and Jonathan) grown in Hungary were investigated and it was found that this provided a good opportunity to determine the most useful practical methods for deciding the best fruit conditions for storage. Using multivariate analysis the main conclusions were (1) 30 fruits were sufficient to determine the pre-storage conditions of fruits, (2) skin colour, flesh firmness and Thiault-index themselves were not sufficient for determining optimum time of harvest, and (3) chemical parameters (TSS:total acidity ratio) were more important.
