New fruit rot diseases of tomato.

ABSTRACT :

 

A survey of a fruit and vegetable market in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir state, India, revealed the presence of Penicillium expansum, Rhizopus oryzae, Trichoderma koningii and Pestalotiopsis sp. on tomato. Pathogenicity was confirmed by inoculations using the prick stick method.
