Condicoes de conservacao pos-colheita de frutos de pimentao (Capsicum annuum L.).

ABSTRACT :

 

Fruits of the cultivar Agronomico 10G harvested on 27 Oct. were dipped in a 1% hypochlorite solution, dried, graded and packed (1) in plastic bags or (2) on aluminium trays covered with PVC film (0.0165 mm). In some cases KMnO4 was added as an ethylene absorbent, and the fruits were held either in ambient conditions or at 8 deg C for 30 days. The least storage weight loss (11.6%) was obtained in (2) without KMnO4 in cold storage.
