Harvest and postharvest management of Braeburn apples.

ABSTRACT :

 

Braeburn apples develop various disorders in storage including bitter pit, lenticel blotch pit, water core, internal browning, brownheart and scald. Pre- and postharvest measures for reducing the development of storage disorders are suggested and suitable harvesting indices are described.
