Studies on pathogenic fungi on Achras sapotae L. in Guangdong Province.

ABSTRACT :

 

The major diseases of sapodilla affected branches and leaves during the growing period while fruit diseases occurred postharvest. Of the 8 species of pathogenic fungi collected during the 2-year survey, Glomerella cingulata was the most destructive. Two new species, Lophodermium sapoti and Didymella sapotae, are described.
