Training farm women in home science.

ABSTRACT :

 

This paper looks at training rural women in home science in India. It examines subjects that are applicable to the land and home, which form basic education for farm women, including: agricultural and animal sciences; post-harvest technology; dairy, poultry, pig and fishery production and management; rural economics; psychology and rural sociology; food and nutrition; human and child development; clothing and textiles; family resource management; and extension and education.
