ABSTRACT :
Changes in 20 physiological and biochemical postharvest parameters of persimmon cv. Huoshi fruits were analysed by bio-mathematical methods. The results indicated that firmness was positively linearly correlated with TSS, crude cellulose, tannin, protopectin, GA and CTK [cytokinin] contents; negatively linearly correlated with membrane permeability and ethylene and ABA contents; and not linearly correlated with PG [polygalacturonase] or IAA contents, pH or respiration.
